Fat Snack x Otak-otak

A short one to update on my holiday life, which mostly involves rotting at home. What's the worse thing to be stuck at home? Snacking non-stop but not on healthy nibbles *sob* All fats are starting to build up around my tummy, thigh, arm, butt and everywhere else fml.. Quitting ballet only further worsens it coz the amount of exercise I do per week is greatly reduced. During college time or even since young, the only time i work my muscles is during ballet classes. Yes I don't do sports hehe. Now i can only occasionally go for a walk in the park with my dad - that's my workout.
Now my thoughts are like that. Still go for walks, eat everything and workout when university life starts. Walk to lectures, start running(need to train till my stomach stop aching whenever I run), swim and healthy eating. Prolly I'm the weirdest girl on earth coz people normally wanna look best upon entering a new environment. So what's wrong with me? Tell me.

Due to boredom I tried to put some effort to make a snack instead of just grabbing it straight out from the fridge. Mind you I'm a clumsy cook who always dream of preparing dishes like the ones you see on MasterChef especially those dessert, but lack of experience coz I didn't attempt, only dream and talkcock lol. So I made a otak-otak pastry puff! #achievementunlocked
Firstly get ready with the ingredients: pastry skin and otak-otak. That's my favourite otak-otak from Muar! Lay the pastry skin flat and spread the otak-otak generously in the centre, I like it bursting out when I bite.
Then top it with another layer of skin and press the sides firmly. To make it a bit more like done by a chef, use a fork to create some pattern at the sides lol. Shove it in the oven and let it bake for around 15 minutes. Do watch over it coz the top tends to get burnt, so place a piece of aluminium foil to cover that part and allow the lower part to be baked longer.
Flaky on the outside, a bit chewy like roti prata on the inside. Easy peasy movie snack!

Success!
