Borough Market - the largest and oldest food market in London. How to get there?

We went there by underground tube services, stopped at London Bridge station and cross Borough High Street after you exit the station.

My sister insisted on bringing us here for ostrich burger but unfortunately it was closed on that day. #saddieme coz it's food we're talking about, ostrich burger isn't a common food and I wanna try it.

Something else which attracts the crowd to Borough market would be Monmouth coffee, regularly touted as the best coffee shop in London. Not being a coffee connoisseur, I actually don't really know how to judge what you called the best coffee. I chose a cup of flat white takeaway and it taste good, worth another visit.

Fish & Chips - a typical British food. Shared one haddock and it cost us around 8 GBP, which is considered pricey as I can get it much cheaper back in Notts.

Since ostrich is now out of the picture, we decided to go into water, fishing for some oysters. Selection of Rocks and complimentary bread at Wright Brothers Oyster & Porter House

While we were about to leave the market, we couldn't help but to stop as we smell something nice and we see people surrounding this stall. I don't think this is a permanent stall so you might not get the same thing when you visit Borough market but don't worry you might be lucky if the ostrich burger is open!

Top : Le Mac Diot - pork sausages from Savoie cooked with wine and onions

Bottom : Tartiflette - famous Savoie dish made with potatoes, onions, white wine, bacon and reblochon cheese (tried this one only, it's carbs but yummy esp. on a windy morning)

That's what I had during a morning at Borough Market.

A place to revisit when I'm in London? Yes pls. Ostrich burger craving not satisfied yet.

Finally back to blogging. As promised, no blogging till exams end but there's still time where I was so tempted to write something here.
Three weeks of nightmare is finally over, now three weeks of break! This week's schedule is totally full. Occupied with movie dates, dinner outings, body massage, facial appointment, Genting trip and CNY shopping!
One more Ipoh food hunt with friends, so I'll just wait till then to do an overall summary of Ipoh delicacies :)

I think I'll do abit on London before I start Spain.

You might have to wait for long coz queues are often seen outside the shop.

This outlet is located in Soho.

Just round the corner and you can spot one of the best bakery, The Hummingbird Bakery

I'm not a cupcake person, but they serve the best red velvet cupcakes.My one and only cupcake.

It was Queen's Diamond Jubilee at that time. Wrong timing to go London coz lots of streets are blocked. There was so many people on the street waiting to catch a glimpse of the Queen.

That's how crazy. Many people climbed up the phone booth.

There was no where to go, so we decided to get down by a tree and enjoy our take-away cupcakes.

Didn't have time to blog at all since starting of June. Travelling and being away from home for the entire June.

Now finally settled down and can have a few days break, staying at home and rot.

So time to blog!

Can't believe how fast time flies. One whole month just passed like that. I didn't really have much time to try all the food and restaurants on my must-eat/try list. So basically I was like eating 6 meals a day, just so to try as much food as I can. Imagine how fat am I right now.

It's supposed to be 'Sorry, I'm leaving'. Dedicated to my sis :)

First thing to update here is about my sudden change in decision. I was supposed to fly back to KL on the 27th night and I totally burnt the ticket. The whole family have been persuading me months ago to extend stay in UK till July. But I was concerned about college and other stuff so I really didn't wanna miss two weeks of school *hardworking and studious lol* But on 27th itself, morning, on the coach going to London. I decided to make a bet or rather to trust luck and submit to the will of God lol. Straight away went to the MAS office to ask if there's available seats on the 18th and if i can still change when I've already checked-in.

Yup they have two available seats. So i have to bear the $$$ to change the dates :( All the way carry my gigantic luggage from Nottingham to London, and then carrying it back to Nottingham 0.o

And failed to surprise ze sister. Planned to hide in the coach until she goes up and see me, but she can really walk like what mummy said, a pink panther haha and caught us in the coach station coz the boarding gate wasn't even opened yet. So I'll be missing college for 2 weeks and enjoying the cold summer here! =D
